The Word of God is the most precious thing we own.
The Bible is God’s Word to mankind. It comforts and guides us daily. It tells us who we are and how we should live. John 3:3 says that we must be born again. When we make Jesus Lord of our lives, our sins are washed away and we become “new creations.” (See Matthew 26:28, II Corinthians 5:17.)
The Holy Spirit enables us to live in the presence of God.Through the Baptism and gifts of the Holy Spirit, we mature and become bold witnesses for Christ. For example, when we speak in tongues, we can praise God and pray according to His will. (See Acts 2:4, I Corinthians 12:10.)
God wants us to have a working knowledge of the Word. The Word instructs believers in every area of life. (See II Timothy 3:16.) Often, God confirms His Word with healings, miracles, signs, and wonders. (See Mark 16:20.)
God answers prayer in natural and supernatural ways. The power of prayer changes things, defeats the devil, and causes God’s people to be overcomers. (See James 5:16.)
God’s method of blessing is “sowing and reaping.”This divine principle is important in every aspect of life. Paying tithes and sowing offerings satisfies this law and causes the blessings of heaven to be poured out upon us. (See Malachi 3:10, II Corinthians 9:6.)
We all need to become part of a church—a local body of believers. It is not enough to pray and read the Bible every day. We need a church where we can have fellowship with believers and be nourished with the Word of God. (See Hebrews 10:25.)
God Wants YOU!God doesn’t want you to die in your sins. He loves you and wants to be your Father. The only way to the Father is through salvation in Jesus Christ. (See John 14:6.)
