Thursday, December 6

The third night of healing meetings has drawn the largest crowd of all—54,000 people—with 20,000 salvations filling more than two-thirds of the stadium field!

Reports of healings include:
•    a woman immobilized with rheumatoid arthritis for three years reported being totally pain free
•    a woman was instantly freed from rib pain and able to sleep—and saw immediate healing of her feet from injury-related problems—after suffering for two years
•    a young woman suffering from complications from an abortion was able to sit, stand, and bend without pain

Marilyn preached a strong evangelistic message on the "Seven 'I Am's' of Jesus."  Many thanks for your continued prayer!
 

Wednesday, December 5

Momentum is building in Sudan as Marilyn heads into the final days of ministry in this largest nation in Africa.  Attendance at our evening services grew by 7,000 people from the first night—to 47,000—and our Pastors' and Leaders' Conference increased by 200—to 2,000.  

Marilyn taught the pastors and leaders about generational curses and blessings and how one believer can make a difference in a family.  She prayed for tumors and growths and asked those healed the night before to share their testimonies.  About 50 people reported healings of backs, ears, and female problems.

Here's a few of the numerous healings that occurred during the evening meetings:
•    one person saw a tumor the size of a grapefruit shrink to the size of a marble
•    two people reported being healed of neck problems and two more whose hands were immobilized witnessed them open up
•    a young girl was delivered from pain from a punctured eardrum that happened two and a half years ago
•    many people were healed of leg and wrist problems  

More than 8,000 people received salvation and hundreds of more the baptism of the Holy Spirit.  Thank you for praying!

Tuesday, December 4 

Our Pastors & Leaders Conference was overflowing with more than 1800 in attendance. Marilyn taught on how to heal the sick and was training the group for work in the evening meeting.  

God's power was evident from the first meeting as reports of healing miracles came in from the Conference.  A Sudanese Pastor who hurt his back 5 years ago and could not touch his toes was healed.  Another leader from Egypt had his neck healed also.

 

Tuesday evening, the crowd swelled to nearly 40,000 at the Christian Family Convention for Marilyn's Healing Meeting.  Miracles abounded!  A young lady with neck, shoulder & back pain was able to stretch, run and bend without pain for first time in 4 years.  One man with shoulder injury from 10 years prior was healed and regained all the feeling in his fingers.  Another young man that was deaf in right ear for 4 years had his healing completely restored!

A surprise greeted Marilyn as she met a woman who attended Marilyn's meeting in Sudan, 10 years ago!  At that first meeting, her ear was opened and her hearing restored.  She has been a powerful intercessor ever since.

 

Sarah Travels to Germany and France

Sarah and her family spent an awesome Thanksgiving holiday ministering in France and Germany.

"In the past, Europe has been a very difficult place to minister, but I really sense God doing some really amazing things there," Sarah reported.

Sarah and her husband Reece finished special leadership training in Berlin with John Maxwell. They also taught some sessions on the need for finances, leadership development, dealing with different personalities, and many other topics.

From Germany, Sarah and her daughter Belle flew to Paris to minister in the Hillsong Paris church. "This was probably one of the greatest highlights of my year—to see God moving in central Paris with power, truth, and results," Sarah said. She taught on the power of God's kingdom in our daily living as set forth in Matthew 13. In a church that draws approximately 500 people weekly, about 10 people received salvation.

Sarah and Belle then reunited with Reece and the two boys in Munich to minister at Gospel Life Center. Sarah addressed a women's group about experiencing Jesus in all areas and seasons of life. At Sunday's service, she taught on how to hear Jesus speaking in daily life. She was thrilled when about 10 people accepted Jesus as Savior. "It's so exciting to see God is moving in our world," she said.

Manifesting God's Power in the Mediterranean


Genoa, Italy
October 27
Marilyn, her ministry team, and 134 travelers arrived in Genoa, Italy—ready for a seven-day teaching cruise in the Mediterranean, followed by pastors' and leadership conferences and healing meetings in Barcelona, Spain. After boarding their cruise ship, the entire group spent the evening in prayer, praise, and worship. Marilyn gave a short refresher course on Romans 10:9-10 on how to present the gospel.


Marseille, France
October 28
Sunday morning the MV Coral docked at Marseille, France and the travelers set off for a day of prayer walking, street dramas, passing out tracts, and (just a little) shopping. The drama team staged four performances illustrating how God's Word helps breaks the power of temptation. As the buses pulled away to return the travelers to the ship, people all over the busy market pier were seen reading their tracts.

After dinner on the ship Sunday evening, Marilyn taught from her book, Acts of the HolySpirit. Marilyn said that, as Christians, our empowerment comes from faith in God and His Word. It is His Holy Spirit that works through us to bring a demonstration of God's power to the world.


Palma de Mallorca, Spain
October 29
A superb outdoor breakfast buffet on the ship's seventh deck greeted the travelers in the morning. There was a special time of prayer, praise, and worship. In the afternoon, Marilyn and 20 travelers visited a homeless shelter to present gifts of food. They prayed over the staff and residents, left tracts, and prayed over 150 beds at the shelter. Many of the residents were suffering from cancer, AIDS, and other illnesses.

Some of the travelers went into the city of Palma de Mallorca to prayer walk, pass out tracts, and perform street dramas. Large crowds gathered to watch the street dramas in the historic city square. Several of the local onlookers even received salvation as the travelers lead them in prayer!

After an enjoyable "Captain's Dinner" aboard ship, Marilyn taught more from Acts of the Holy Spirit, explaining about the transitional times we as Christians face in our walk with God. She said that whatever role we've been called to in the kingdom, we need to serve through our gifts with steadfast love.


Malaga, Spain
October 30
The morning began with another time of inspiring prayer, praise, and worship. Marilyn taught on how the believer must look to God as the only way out in times of devastation. The travelers had a private "Celebration Luncheon" and then spent the afternoon sightseeing at the Catholic Cathedral, Picasso's home and museum, the coliseum for bullfighting, and a castle.

The drama team spent their afternoon rehearsing for their upcoming street performances designed to present the gospel.


Morocco/Gibraltar
October 31, 2007
The team awakened to see the sunlit shores of Morocco.  They spent three hours sightseeing at the Caves of Hercules and through the maze of merchant shops lining the narrow, winding streets of Tangiers.  For most of the group, this was an exhilarating adventure into a mysterious culture, and they returned with many interesting stories. 

The next stop was one of the most fascinating sites of the tour—the Rock of Gibraltar.  The views of Africa and Spain were breathtaking.  Here you can see the Atlantic Ocean meet the Mediterranean Sea.  The group even encountered some of the "famous" monkeys that delight and greet travelers.


Ibiza, Spain
November 1
The ship arrived in Ibiza, Spain around 7 p.m.  Many group members explored the city, prayer walked, passed out tracts, and shared the gospel, while the drama team stayed aboard ship to rehearse for their upcoming performances.  Travelers returned excitedly telling stories of divine appointments and God-directed situations that made their brief visit very rewarding.




Barcelona, Spain
November 2, 2007
There was a great sense of expectancy as the team approached the shores of Barcelona.  The first day was spent settling in at the Grand Marina Hotel Barcelona and then touring the grounds where the 1992 Olympics were held.  The first healing meeting was at 7 p.m. at the Hotel Arts.  The drama team's hard work and dedication paid off as many in the 1,000-plus crowd were drawn to tears as the gospel message was portrayed.  This anointed performance set the stage for 116 salvations and 300 Holy Spirit baptisms.



November 3, 2007

After an early breakfast at the hotel, the travelers went prayer walking, passing out tracts and fliers for the evening healing meetings, and sightseeing in beautiful Barcelona.  The drama team performed three times throughout the day to over 1,000 people on the city streets.  During the evening meetings, more than 70 people received salvation and there were over 400 Holy Spirit baptisms. 

Healings occurred both nights as the ministry team prayed for people. Two people born deaf were healed.  Many people who were saved or healed during Marilyn's trip to Barcelona four years ago came back specifically to be part of these meetings.  Marilyn reported that attendance tripled from four years ago.

November 4, 2007

The day started with a "Celebration Breakfast" for the team, followed by a driving tour to see the many works of the famous Spanish architect Antoni Gaudi. The travelers had the rest of the day and evening free to rest, sightsee, and fellowship.

The travelers headed back to the United States in three separate flight groups.

Hungary

It was with great anticipation that Marilyn returned to Faith Church, pastored by Sandor and Judith Nemeth, in Budapest, Hungary in September.  This was her tenth visit to the country since 1989.  "Who would have thought that God would bring revival in Central Europe?" Marilyn mused.  She said the church—which started with a small group of people in homes 10 years ago—is now thriving with over 50,000 members.  People are being reached through secular television—and churches are springing up in Hungary, Romania, Serbia, the Czech Republic, and Croatia.  Marilyn reported that their Sunday services lasted six hours, and there were many dramatic healings as she taught and ministered during a later healing service.

To top off her trip, at the airport Marilyn met a man whom she had prayed for years ago—he had been miraculously healed from a growth in his ear.  He's now a pastor! 

South Africa

South Africa is a peaceful, prosperous country that's seeing a proliferation of churches!  That was Marilyn's report from her recent trip to South Africa.  She was invited by the pastors of Christian Family Church International to be a guest speaker for the dedication of a new church in Johannesburg.  She taught on healing and evangelism to a very enthusiastic crowd.  The pastors (Theo and Bev Wolmaran) have planted 200 churches in Africa already—and have started planting in—of all places—the United States.

Omaha, Nebraska

Don't take shortcuts. Stay in God's purpose…and witness God's power," Marilyn told an enthusiastic crowd at the Lord of Hosts Church in Omaha, Nebraska in September.

Marilyn ministered several times during a conference at the church, teaching on God's purpose, plan, and power in your life, based on the third chapter in Ecclesiastes. She also taught on family faith and family power. "It only takes one person of faith in a family to start God's power rolling," Marilyn stated. The crowd enjoyed her message about the blessings God bestowed on Caleb's daughter—just because she had the boldness to ask God and believe for her inheritance.

Many in attendance received personal scripture references from Marilyn, and she closed with this encouraging word from Ecclesiastes 3:11, "He has made everything beautiful in its time" (NIV).

Overall, Marilyn was pleased with her ministry time in Omaha.

Sarah in Australia

Sarah just returned from a whirlwind ministry trip to Australia where she taught six times in two days. Her first speaking engagement was at the Liverpool Christian Life Center's Women's Conference, where she taught on the power of God's love and the importance of bringing Jesus to the world. The next day, she ministered three times in two churches. Her focus was on John 10:27 regarding hearing Jesus' voice and not following the voice of a stranger. Salvations occurred at every engagement.

Sderot, Israel

Marilyn returned to the besieged village of Sderot, Israel for a third time this past August to see what Marilyn Hickey Ministries could do to help displaced families.

Located a half mile from the Gaza Strip, Sderot continues to be an "open target" for assault. During the war with Hezbollah, the townspeople were bombarded with over 1,000 missiles daily. Now, the town averages about 200 attacks per month. Many homes, businesses, and schools have been destroyed. The villagers need financial assistance for home repairs, alternative housing, gas, food, and living expenses for those who cannot work because of injury.

Rabbi David Fendel showed Marilyn the construction site for a new Cultural Community Center he is helping to build in an effort to bring hope to the village. "All world has eyes on Sderot," Marilyn said. "Rabbi Fendel appears to be the glue holding the village together."

Marilyn visited with a family whose 15-year-old son lost his left foot …and most of his right foot…when a bomb exploded as he ran for shelter!

"I've made a commitment to our Jewish brothers and sisters in Sderot—to help them rebuild and restore wherever their enemy attacks or destroys. They need our prayers…and our help," Marilyn stated. Please keep Sderot in your prayers!

London_2007

Marilyn ministered for four power-packed days in London August 3-7—hosting a women's conference and healing meetings and speaking at three churches.  

As a keynote speaker for Morris Cerullo's Mission to London and Europe Conference, Marilyn joined other Christian leaders such as Reinhard Bonnke, Tommy Tenny, Steve Munsey, Ron Luce, and Tommy Barnett for two days of inspiring teaching, praise and worship, and prophecy.  She also had speaking engagements at London's Hillsong Church and at New Covenant Church.  

Marilyn's stay in London ended with a two-day Enjoy Life Women's Conference and Citywide Healing Meetings.  Teaching from her Enjoy Life book, she shared practical steps to move past everyday struggles and find greater joy, passion, and purpose in life.  "We'd like to come back to London soon—to keep the momentum building," Marilyn stated.

Marilyn at The Wisdom Center

This weekend, June 9th-10th, Marilyn ministered at a School of the Bible event, hosted by Mike Murdock at The Wisdom Center in Ft. Worth, Texas.  Marilyn walked the crowd of 1300 through the entire Bible, as she shared her “Bible Encounter,” one of her signature teachings.  At least one attendee commented, "Now the Bible makes much more sense to me!"

Highlights from Indonesia

We just returned from Indonesia on Tuesday and we are so excited at what God did!

The Indonesian people have suffered so much in the last few years, from tsunamis to earthquakes, to bombings to floods.  They desperately need to hear the gospel message of hope and faith.  That’s why we were so excited to go and offer support to Christian pastors and leaders, and work with local ministries, like World Harvest.  As we visited the slums of Jakarta and orphanages there and in Bali, it was a joy to pray for the people; take food toys, and medical supplies to the children; and encourage and support local pastors and truly impact a nation.

Our Pastor's Leadership Conference in Bali drew more than 700 Christian leaders and our evening healing meetings overflowed with nearly 2500 Balinese.  Over the course of two days we saw hundreds give their lives to Jesus—and more than 1000 were baptized with the Holy Spirit.  What an impact on this community known for its idolatry and demonic activity.  In our meetings, many were delivered from demonic oppression and set free to live for Jesus!

Indonesia is predominantly Muslim—BUT it's also 30% Christian!  Things are changing in Indonesia and we were thrilled to go and plant seeds of hope and restoration in this nation; a nation that matters to God!

Costa Rica Is Forever Changed Supernatural anointing and dramatic transformations took place as Marilyn ministered to over 5000 people at an international women's conference in Costa Rica. Marilyn's First-ever Visit to Jamaica
Marilyn ministered to over 10,000 people as the keynote speaker for the Women of Destiny Conference in Kingston. Sponsored by the International Center for Christian Leadership, Marilyn was invited by a local pastor to be a catalyst for renewal in this Caribbean paradise.

"Your ministry will come at a crucial moment in the island's history. Jamaica is in crisis," stated Pastor Gary Kellner, Executive Director of the ICCL. "More than 50 percent of the women will never have a husband. Up to 70 percent of children are born out of wedlock. Women are the key to the future of the nation. If they gain a sense of destiny and hope, the island will experience renewal."

Marilyn taught for three power-packed days on 8 Ways to Heal the Sick, Naming Your Darkness, and The Names of God. Each night witnessed healings of back problems, disappearance of growths, and relief from chronic pain as a powerful anointing rushed through the crowds.

Sarah Goes to China—A Unique Ministry Opportunity
God is moving in China! Thousands of Chinese are accepting Christ daily, which is creating a need for Christian pastors and leaders. Sarah recently returned from Asia where she was involved in leadership and discipleship training in conjunction with John Maxwell's EQUIP organization which focuses on Equipping Leaders to Reach Our World. The men and women Sarah interacted with were receptive to her teaching and open to future engagements.
